Fish the island waters for Marlin, Mahi-mahi, Tuna or wahoo on board the caribbean's finest boat.
Fully rigged with state of the art equipment and handled by experienced fishermen who won several tournaments the last few years.

 

The boat:

Fully equiped for sport-fishing in high seas. Arawak is totaly equiped in electronics (GPS plotter, fishfinder, radar, VHF, autopilot...)

It is a luxurious top of the line boat with quality fishing and confort (living room, bathrooms, showers, air-conditionning ...)

The periods :

In Saint Martin there is fish all year round with best periods from November to August and pic season for billfish between May and August.

From May to August for the Marlin. (see chart below)

The time schedule :

General departure start between 7.00 am and 8.00 am and return around noon for half-day trips, full-day trips returns are 8 to 9 hours later.

Fishing gear :

Custom rods with Shimano reels; 30,50 and 80's.

Baits are balyhoo, mackerel and bonitos.
Lures are Inland lures, BigT , sadu , R&S, Black Bart, Pacific of very good quality

 

 

The technics :

Fast trolling in general with artificial lures for Billfish. Possibilitie to fish ´ switch and bait ª depending on the angler experience.
For the other species, fast trolling with dead baits. Possibilities of fly fishing for tunas, Mahi-mahi and Billfish.

The fishes :

blue marlin (1000 lbs possible)(fishes less than 300 lbs are tagged and released)
white marlin
tuna
wahoo
dolphin
shark and barracuda

 

 

Fishing rules :
No particular regulations except we encourage release for the Billfish. All catches belong to the boat.

On board :
Open bar is free (sodas, beer and water), lunch is included for full day charters
